Hi, I’m Michael, a passionate wedding and lifestyle photographer based in New York. My story began far from here—in a small city in Africa, where I grew up in a family of three. Today, I’m happily married and a proud father of four amazing kids, and my journey into photography is one I truly treasure.
My love for photography started back in high school. I remember the excitement when my mom managed to buy me my very first camera. I carried it everywhere—to school, events, and special occasions—capturing pictures of friends, teachers, and memorable moments. That simple gift sparked a passion that would shape my entire future.
After high school, I decided to take photography seriously. I signed up to learn the craft and began working with two major studios in my hometown of Benin City, where I gained hands-on experience and discovered the joy of creating images that tell real stories.
Twelve years ago, I relocated to the United States, bringing my passion and skills with me. Since then, I’ve continued to grow as a professional photographer, specializing in weddings, portraits, family sessions, and lifestyle photography. Today, I’m honored to capture beautiful stories for couples and families across New York and beyond.
